This FREE Intermediate Spanish Course comprises of 30 topics. For each topic there is a video lesson, audio conversation, written text, and interactive revision exercise. We recommend that you work through the topics in order. Firstly, watch video lesson 1, then listen to audio conversation 1, then read written text 1, and finally test your knowledge in revision exercise 1. Then move on to topic 2, and so on.

Audio Conversations

 

Below you will find 30 audio conversations in Spanish. Each practices the important information you have learned previously in the corresponding video lesson. Your listening skills are the most important and typically the hardest to develop. It is really important that you get used to listening to people talking Spanish. Even if you find it tough, do your best to be relaxed when listening and be content with understanding the general idea of what is being said. Don’t worry if you don’t understand every word and rest assured that it is only a matter of time before things become clearer.

Written Texts

 

Below you will find 30 written texts in Spanish. Each practices the important information you have learned previously in the corresponding video lesson. There may be some words and phrases in the text that you are unfamiliar with, but you should be aiming to capture the main essence of what is happening. There will always be words and phrases popping up in real-life situations that you have never heard before, so it is important never to get too distracted by details. If you want to investigate some of the words or structures you are unsure about, please do, but it is advisable not to refer to a dictionary or any notes until you have read the text at least once.

The fact that you have written out each phrase or word used in both English and Spanish for every video really helps me retain the information. I also don’t find myself getting bored like I did with Rosetta Stone and other courses. Thank you. This site really deserves to be one of the top-ranked Spanish language sites in the world.
