Beginner Spanish Practice MP3 CourseBeginner Spanish Practice Video Course

This is an interactive Spanish video where you have the opportunity to practice Spanish at beginner level with a native Spanish speaker.

In this Spanish lesson we will practice one of the essential Spanish verbs – the verb To go in Spanish – El verbo Ir. El verbo Ir is used a lot in Spanish and so it is important that you get familiar with it as soon as possible. Ir is a little bit more tricky than other Spanish verbs because its conjunctions change quite significantly from its base/infinitive form of “Ir” to voy, vas, va, vamos, váis and van. We also use this structure for the future (Going to…) tense as well as the present tense. For example, “I am going to eat…” is “Voy a comer…”, “We are going to eat…” is “Vamos a comer…”. There are many essential Spanish verbs to practice with a lot in the early stages of learning Spanish and El verbo Ir is definitely one of them.

Please try to watch the video first before looking at the lesson notes. Answers to all tasks involved in the lesson will be given at the end of the post. Try not to look at the answers until you have tried a good few times to give your own responses.

This lesson practices the information taught in Beginner Spanish Lesson 36: Essential Spanish Verbs To go El verbo Ir from my Beginner Spanish Course.
