This is an interactive Spanish video where you have the opportunity to practice Spanish at beginner level with a native Spanish speaker.
In this Spanish lesson we will practice how to tell the time in Spanish. Telling the time in Spanish is another of those basic skills that are totally essential if you are to survive in a Spanish-speaking country. It is also a great way to start practicing with people on the street and strike up a conversation. If you want to improve your Spanish, you really need to get stuck in and actually start using it with native speakers in direct conversation. Often it is difficult to find the opportunity, even if you are on holiday or a business trip in Spain or Latin America. Sometimes the only way is to accost someone in the street and ask them the time or directions to somewhere. Most people won’t mind and will be happy to hear a foreigner trying so hard to learn their language.
Please try to watch the video first before looking at the lesson notes. Answers to all tasks involved in the lesson will be given at the end of the post. Try not to look at the answers until you have tried a good few times to give your own responses.
This lesson practices the information taught in Beginner Spanish Lesson 29: How to tell the time in Spanish (Part 1) from my Beginner Spanish Course.
