This lesson is part of the Beginner Practice Spanish Course
(58 Spanish video or mp3 lessons. 2 hrs 28 mins)
This is an interactive Spanish video where you have the opportunity to practice Spanish at beginner level with a native Spanish speaker.
In this Spanish lesson we will practice using the Spanish verb To be El verbo Estar. We have already seen the other Spanish verb To be El verbo Ser in previous lessons and now we will start focusing on El verbo Estar. Spanish is a bit trickier than English in the respect that it has two verbs To be, whereas in English there is only one (I am, you are, he/she/it is, etc). The verb To be El verbo Estar or Ser is fundamental the language and therefore it is essential that you are totally clear on how and when to use Estar and Ser and the differences between the two. At first glance it may seem a bit daunting, but with a bit of time and practice you will start to see that there are clear differences that are not so hard to remember and use.
Please try to watch the video first before looking at the lesson notes. Answers to all tasks involved in the lesson will be given at the end of the post. Try not to look at the answers until you have tried a good few times to give your own responses.
This lesson practices the information taught in Beginner Spanish Lesson 24: The Spanish Verb To Be El Verbo Estar from my Beginner Spanish Course.
