Vocabulary and expressions related to Love in Spanish

This lesson is part of my “Street Spanish” course which is aimed at giving you all of the necessary Spanish vocabulary and phrases for speaking colloquially in Spanish.

In this lesson we will learn lots of useful Spanish vocabulary and expressions related to describing Love in Spanish, such as “Enamorarse de alguien” (To fall in love with somebody), “Amor a primera vista” (love at first sight), and “Estar enamorado/a hasta las trancas” (To be madly in love with somebody). I have had many requests from students and blog users for more information related to describing Love in Spanish and I will be posting three or four more lessons on this topic. I hope everyone finds the series useful and interesting.

The Spanish vocabulary and phrases that you will find in this course are not the kind that you will find in regular textbooks and some should be used with caution as they are quite vulgar, but I want to give you an insight into exactly how Spanish people really speak on the street.

I would like to invite you to add you own additional Spanish vocabulary and phrases relevant to this topic. I have listed here the Spanish vocabulary and phrases that I can think of, but for sure there are many many more and I would love to hear your suggestions. Please use the comment form with this post.
