Spanish Pronunciation – Lesson 49 – Spanish Intonation: Information Questions

In this lesson we are going to continue our analysis of Spanish intonation and practice the intonation of “Information questions” in Spanish. Information questions are questions which elicit certain information rather than a simple yes or no answer.
In Spanish, information questions start with a question word such as “dónde”, “cuándo” or “cómo” and usually end in a falling pitch.
If you would like to see the meaning of any sentences you are unsure of please see the lesson notes.
