In this lesson we are going to learn some transport vocabulary in Spanish and more sentences with the verb “to go” in Spanish – “el verbo ir”. In the previous lesson we looked at how to conjugate (modify a verb from its basic form) el verbo Ir and I definitely recommend that you review that lesson before watching this next video. Here we learn useful transport vocabulary in Spanish such as “coche” (car) and avión (aeroplane) and how to say that you go by, for example “autobús”, usually or are going by, for example “autobús”, now or in the future. Be prepared to notice a few differences between how the sentences are structured in Spanish and how they are structured in English and remember never to rely too much on translating word for word, literally between languages. Concentrate on taking in and remembering how the sentences and expressions work in Spanish and try as much as possible to forget your native lanaguage for the time at least that you are studying or speaking Spanish.
