Bilbao, municipio situado en el norte de España, es la capital de Vizcaya, una de las tres provincias de Euskadi (País Vasco). Desde su fundación, hace más de 700 años, Bilbao ha sido el factor fundamental en la modernización socio-económica de Vizcaya. Es la ciudad vasca más grande y animada y goza de un ambiente muy moderno. Está constantemente reinventándose y cuenta con proyectos vanguardistas y una arquitectura contemporánea espectacular, como el famoso e impresionante Museo Guggenheim.
Bilbao también cuenta con una gran selección de restaurantes y tiendas, junto con una vibrante vida nocturna que rivaliza con cualquier otra ciudad. Su entorno de verdes colinas y la cercana costa de maravillosas playas conservan su belleza natural y es sorprendentemente verde. Bilbao ha sido durante mucho tiempo un importante destino turístico. Su clima puede que sea el único inconveniente real con una alta probabilidad de lluvia en cualquier época del año.
El servicio de transporte público de Bilbao es excelente e incluye un sistema de metro subterráneo elegante y moderno. La parte antigua de Bilbao, Casco Viejo, es conocida por sus edificios históricos, calles estrechas, bares de pintxos y el entretenimiento callejero. Bilbao in northern Spain is the capital of Vizcaya, one of the three provinces of the Basque Country (Pais Vasco). Since its foundation, more than 700 years ago, Bilbao has been the fundamental factor in the socio-economic modernisation of Vizcaya. It is the largest and liveliest Basque city with very modern feel. It is constantly reinventing itself and boasts avant-garde projects and spectacular contemporary architecture, such as the famous and still hugely impressive Guggenheim Museum.
Bilbao also boasts a great selection of restaurants and shops, together with a vibrant nightlife to rival any city. Its backdrop of green hills and wonderful nearby coastline and beaches is unspoilt and startlingly green. Bilbao has long been a major tourist destination. Its weather may be the only real drawback with a high chance of rainfall at any time of the year.
Bilbao’s public transport network is excellent and includes a stylish and modern Metro subway system. The old part of Bilbao, Casco Viejo, is known for its historic buildings, narrow alleyways, pintxo (small tapas) bars and street entertainment. There is a good selection of hotels throughout the city of Bilbao, with many of the most popular accommodation options based in the heart of the city and close to the main attractions.

I really like the parallel text as it makes it easier to comprehend the spanish language. I would like to suggest that by placing the two languages side by side (on a single page) will afford the student the ability of almost word forword translation.

This site was recommended to me and I will certainly recommend it to others. I have been learning Spanish for three years now at an evening class once a week, and from books, but this site allows me to hear the spoken Spanish which will definitely assist my learning. I have difficulty constructing sentences ‘tambien’!
